IRON LUNG

This is my shrine dedicated to the Iron Lung movie! I'll add everything from trinkets to fanart to my own thoughts on the movie :)

I had the pleasure to watch it in theater multiple times and it became one of my favourite movies basically instantly. In general I'm a fan of Marks cinematic projects, my favourites (not counting Lung) are the Wilford 'MOTHERLOVING' Warfstache short film and In Space With Markiplier.

➤ Simons clothes

They are so TEXTURED so TATTERED so PATCHY so WOWYAyYIPPE!!!
My favourite detail is that his green sweater is slightly transparent, and you can see the silhuette of the harness underneath when you get a clear shot of his back. Idk that scratched my brain so good I rotate that shot in my head regularly.

➤ Rewatchability

Each time I watched it I noticed new details that made me want to stare and question every pixel, every sound! I've never seen a movie that made me feel like I was losing my mind like the MC, and I feel a part of that is the fact that this movie was designed for the theater. It wasn't meant to be seen on my small-ass laptop with improper colour and bad speakers. I was meant to sit in the dark of the theater and flinch at barely-there whispers and strain my eyes at shadows in the corner that I can't be sure were there without the ability to rewind the tape. Incredible, I didn't even know movies could be like this.
