Miha was born in soviet russia as the middle child with two sisters, his father wasn't around.
In school he was quiet and very insecure, specifically about his height (tall as hell) and face. He found schoolwork to be very easy and was always praised for good grades and behavoir, but never got close with classmates. His relationship with his sisters was also not too close, he was considered a very nerdy lonely kid all around.
When he was a teenager the band Kino was active, and he was very influenced, picked up smoking to be cooler. (Auktyon was also a favourite, and he gravitated to them more as he got older)
After graduating he moved to Moscow to study in cybernetics. When the Ussr collapsed, so did his institute, just before he could get his degree. By this time he knew he was queer and trans, and there was no way to transition, so he stole money from his family to escape to Europe.

The money he stole was barely enough to get him over the border and sustain him for a small time, it wasn't worth much. He took up a job as a trucker to get by and maybe save enough to get him a ticket to America.
While on the job he picked up a hitchhiker, and they fell into a relationship. He was angry and anti-social, but she wasn't bothered by him at all. They both wanted to move to the USA and promised they'd do it all together.

Him and his partner eventually moved to NYC, Miha found a well-paying programming job and medically transitioned.
He was very enthusiastic about adopting a child, and they already found a match, but his partner left him just as the paperwork was finished.

Miha crashes with the oceanic (without Vasya, his daughter), and helps out Sayid with the electronics. At the same time Vasya has to go live with Miha's family in russia that he hasn't spoken to since he stole all their money (girl is gonna have a hard time my god).
Sayid and Miha fall in love (!!!), but before anything can happen they're seperated when Sayid goes on the helicopter and the island teleports. Miha gets stuck in the 70s, and neither of them know if the other is alive. Miha becomes shut-off again, and misses his daughter and Sayid, taking up a job as an IT MAN in the Dharma initiative. They finally reunite after 3 years, a lot more exhausted, but still in love (!!!), and work together to get the hell off this island AND NOBODY HAS TO BLOW THEMSELVES UP!! (looking at you Lost writers)
They ESCAPE and they GET VASYA BACK and MARRY and HAVE A GOOD TIME and GO ON VACATION to ITALY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
