WANDERER
★ You cannot tell what he's thinking, his eyes and mustache look like they're always smiling, even when he's giving you a death stare. Somehow he always feels like the most trustworthy person in the room, always gets his way in a conversation, and is generally pleasant, fun and charming. Unfortunately others are tools first, people second, and friends last to him.
He's a very good leader, and an incredible strategist, he'll often disregard orders if he's sure there's a better option, and is right most of the time. His higher-ups both respect him and are very annoyed.
In a fight he's efficent and confident.
★ Wanderer gathers and dries St. John's wort and brews tea from it, drinks together with his soldiers. Generally beloved by the men under his wing, who would describe him as a fair and honorable leader. Though he's friendly with most, the only people he's truly gotten close with were Sergei and Uin.
His family connections are unknown to most. He was raised Orthodox (now he's an atheist), and had a sister, who he drifted apart with a long time ago.

Wanderer's guard dog, his bullet,

★ He's been around in various anti-government circles for a while. Well aware of the red terror. He avoids directly enaging in intimidation, but doesn't do anything against it.
Only partly agrees with Bolshevik ideologies, but his own opinions don't matter to him that much.
He knew (by ways of facts and logic) from the start that this was the side of the winners, giving in to personal beliefs of what's right or wrong and going against them would be pointless. So he'll give himself to them completely. In some sense he's as much of a dog as Sergei is.
Dedicated to his goal above all else. His goal? Fucking winning.
★ Wanderer is probably my favourite character I've ever made, I don't know why, I don't even draw him that often.
He went from a cheerful traveler in a Lotr inspired world to this. He's literally ten years old, probably more, that's crazy.
I like characters who often engage in acts of kindness and at the same time have truly questionable morals, it scratches an itch. I think he managed to break out of the usual archetypes and make his own little space, that always makes him interesting to think about. I never immidietly know how he's gonna act, he keeps me on my toes.
And his moustache and smiling eyes have had me in their grip for the past six years.
